Hello friends! Happy October! Can you believe it is Halloween next week? This year has flown by! Today I am in full Christmas Holiday mode.
My local Michaels’ store recently had some Christmas holiday paper packs on sale – regular $19.99, on sale for $5.99 and I was able to use a 20% off coupon on sale items so they ended up being under $5.00 for 12 x 12 paper packs. I ended up getting 3 different ones and I used some paper from one of them to make this card and box.
As you can see the colors are not really traditional. Shades of blue and green mixed with a lavender – oh so pretty!! I never considered lavender as a holiday color but it works well with the blue/green shades.
I stamped the wreath – from Power Poppy – with memento ink and colored with copics. You can’t tell from the photo but the berries are highlighted with a stardust gel pen for added sparkle.
The cute little treat box was created in minutes using the WRMK 123 Punch board – but you can use the envelope punch board as well. The sentiment is another Power Poppy stamp and works perfectly here. I used two dies, one pierced circle and one ornament shaped and tied it to the box with silver cord.
I did a short video on how to make the box – here is the link. Thanks for stopping by! #WRMK, #powerpoppy
