I don’t know how I ever survived childhood. My life was a mixture of dangerous and wild activities…
I rode a bicycle (an old rusty second hand thing) in the street. Without a helmet!!! I walked to school in all types of weather and wandered through a secluded wooded area to get there. Lunch was on white wonder bread and kept in a paper bag (no fancy insulated container) for hours until lunchtime. We had one phone and one car in our family. One TV with 4 channels – and you had to get up to change the channel.
Ate cupcakes, cookies and brownies that mom made. And I licked the bowl. Never got sick. I am now finding out that you should never lick the bowl because it contains raw eggs…..Can’t believe I was such a risk taker. But since I’ve managed to survive this far without any food poisoning issues I say go for it!! Life is too short – lick the bowl.
Here is my dessert inspired card – the image from Our Daily Bread designs and the sentiment from Papertrey.
It was colored with prisma pencils:
plate: cool grey 20% – 30% – 50%
cupcake and chocolate: gingerroot – light umber – espresso
candy topping and cupcake paper: pink rose – pink – magenta
cherry: blush pink – crimson red – tuscan red
whipped topping: light peach – cool grey 20%
I drew in the ground and shadows with grey pencils.
