Whew – it’s day three of sneak peek and its release day! Today we’re pushing daisies – Gerber Daisies that is!! Marcella Hawley does it again in this floral set, which was a set that was most requested by our customers. Read on further to the end to find out how you can win this set.
I stamped the main image three times (masking as I went – and I am ever so grateful for Eclipse Masking Tape!) on Flourishes Classic White cardstock. The image was colored using the copic collections of Daffodil and Spring Greens, along with the new Melon Mambo ink and paper from SU – don’t you just love how the yellow and green copic collection works so well with this new paper? Palette ink – burnt umber was used for the flowers and butterfly. Now I have no idea if gerber daisies are yellow with pink centers real life, but on this blog they exist!
Once the main panel was complete, I used three layers of UTEE to make it look like a tile – here is a close up photo..I hope you can see the tiled effect. The ribbon is from my stash and I have no idea where it came from!!

Wow – the first day of sneak peeks was incredible – didn’t you love what the Flourishes Design team has done so far? Just wait until you see today and tomorrow!
Lauren Pope designed this set and it is just darling to work with. In this card I used two of the images – that wonderful sentiment and cute teddy bear. I wanted it to be a baby boy’s card, so I kept it blue. Starting with Flourishes Classic White Cardstock, then Palette ink – Reflection Blue was used for the sentiment and thecopic collection of Flesh Tones 1 was used for the teddy bear.
I used a score pal for the vertical lines in the background, and those embossed buttons on the bottom? It is one of those cuttlebug embossing strips! I had purchased a pack of 4 because I liked two of the strips and when I went to look at the other two I found the button strip, which went perfectly on this card!

Do you like summer fruits? You’ll LOVE this new set that has TWO fruit images! It’s called Cherries and Peaches, designed by the talented Marcella Hawley and it is a beauty! Read through to the end to see how you can win this set.
I’ve created these two cards using the large and small peach image, you’ll have to check out the rest of the Flourishes Design team to get a peek at the cherry images – they are just as beautiful!
I colored both images with Prisma pencils and odorless mineral spirits – here is a link to a quick video to show how I achieved the color.
