Live Life In COLOR!

peacock-on-glossyIt’s the start of sneek peaks for the February releases at Flourishes and this month it is all about COLOR!  What better way to start off talking about color with a peacock set.  This is my card featuring the beautiful peacock from the Strut Your Stuff set, designed by Lauren Pope.   Keep reading to see how you can win this set!

It’s a simple design – I dropped a few drops of  Posh reinkers in Awning Green, Sailboat Blue and Bikini Pink on a piece of transparency and lightly sprayed water over it. Then I pressed a piece of glossy cardstock on it to pick up the color.

Once the glossy piece was dry, I stamped the images with Palette Noir, added some black rhinestones and attached that to a panel which was edged with a Martha Stewart Punch.  This is a quick and easy technique to do and you really can’t go wrong with the background!
