Home Tweet Home inspiration

I made this card for today’s Featured Stamper challenge, which feature the work of Lori Craig.  The rules – pick out one of her cards to case, but change at least two things and give credit for the inspiration.

I started with the rich and luscious Basic Grey paper from the Eva collection.  The images –  from the latest release from Flourishes called Home Tweet Home – were stamped and colored with Palette Inks – Burnt Umber, Landscape and Claret.  The scalloped shape was cut using a Slice machine and sponged with eggplant ink.

Here is Lori’s card that provided the inspiration – as you can see I changed the color palette and stamps, but followed the basic sketch. Thanks Lori for providing a great card!

Lovely vibrant card. Love the look of that bird set. I visit here most days and enjoy seeing and reading your news.

this card is really nice. I’m sure that my grandma will like the cards I’ll do for Mother’s day with another set with birds of Flourishes. She has a LOT of birds and suffers every single one that leaves the house as if it were the only one.
