3 Days of Sneak Peeks – and a chance to win!

January 14, 2009 at 7:43 am 5 comments

It’s s new year and we are mixing it up a bit with a new way of releasing Flourishes stamps.  Instead of a full release on the second Wednesday each month, we’ll do a sneak peek on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, showing a different set each day on the Flourishes Newsletter, then on Friday night at the Flourishes Forum (between 7pm and 9pm eastern time) we’ll reveal all the sets.

Here is your chance to win the new sets…on each day of the sneak peek, go the the Flourishes Newsletter and make a comment on the post that gives the sneak peek.  We’ll randomly select winners and announce them all on the Friday Night Release Party.  We’ll also have prizes to give away during the release party so be sure to stop by!

cake-with-dotsHere is my sneak peek of the first set – this will give you an idea of the theme!  I colored the cake with Palette inks – Claret and Noir Black.  I really LOVE palette inks and am thrilled that Flourishes is carrying a nice selection of colors.  The Claret color is a nice match for the rose paper.  Cuttlebugs Swiss Dot embossing folder added a little texture to the back, and since I was going with dots, a sheer black dot ribbon was the perfect choice.  It still needed a little bling, so I added three clear/silver rhinestones.  I use a pair of tweezers to place the rhinestones from their package to the card.

Check out the newsletter where you’ll find links to our great design teams sneak peek cards!

Thanks for stopping by!
