“Just one card” she said.  That will be easy, right?  Some of the Flourishes designers got into the holiday spirit and did a “secret swap”.  Julie Koerber coordinated it all (thanks Julie!)  – she took the names of all the participants  – we each received one name to whom we would send a card.

I thought – no problem – it’s just one card!  Well, making a card for a friend is one thing, but when I set out to make a card for one of our designers – yikes!! Oh the pressure!  It had to be so good – even though I knew I could never compete with what they create.  I received the  card above  from my secret swapper – Sharon Doolittle.  I tried so hard to get a photo that does this card justice.  The beautiful poinsettia was stamped and embossed in white and colored with Twinkling H2O’s and it is gorgeous IRL!

This was the card I sent out to my secret swapper – I based it on some paperclay ornaments that were showcased  in the holiday Martha Stewart magazine.  Everything is gold embossed on shimmery white paper.

So… see the joy that was spread around the Flourishes family.  Just click on the names to see the fun cards created just for the holiday season!

This is beautiful – I have no idea what you were worried about. I love the simplicity and clean lines (even though I know it wasn’t “simple” to make) It’s really beautiful.
