Release day at Flourishes!

Flourishes releases three new sets today – I have cards for two of them in this post.  BUT – we’re also having a big sale on a number of items, so check the Flourishes Newsletter for all the details!

First up are two cards made with the Figs and Pomegrantes set.  This is a set of beautiful botanical images created by Marcella Hawley exclusively for Flourishes.

This card was created using colorwash sprays on watercolor paper, then stamping the image with Palette Noir ink.  It’s a quick and easy technique that has a dramatic effect.

In this card, I used olive and wine markers to color the image and sentiment.  Basic Grey paper and brads in the Eva collection provide the background and Flourishes is having a sale on all Basic Grey products!

This card show images from the Autumn Flourishes set – it contains several sprigs of leaves, individual leaf stamps and some sentiments.  I used a reverse mask to create the center using Ancient Page inks in blue and green.  The blue paper and brad are from the Basic Grey Urban Prarie collection.  Black Satin ribbon and a Stardust gel pen were added to finish it off.
