One page down, so many to go..

I’m not much of a scrapbooker – it takes me forever to do the simplest page, but this one photo of my grandparents, The Columbani’s,  kept popping up in my mind and I finally decided this weekend was the time I would do something with it.

The theme needed to be vintage and my papers are miscellaneous sheets from my stash, chosen for their colors.  Once the basic layout was set up I embellished using photo corners rubbed with gold metallic added a chocolate satin ribbon and used the Special Occasion Monogram Stamper Kit  for all the stamping and lettering.    The photo was taken in northern Italy around the 1910’s.

The Special Occasions kit comes with three interchangeable borders and centers, one 95 pt font and two 50 pt fonts with numbers, symbols and flourishes.  Here’s a close up of one of the border and centers, along with a look at the font with one of the flourish elements.

Thanks for stopping by!
