Blog Candy….

December 24, 2007 at 7:47 am 40 comments

It’s Christmas Eve and time to announce my blog candy!!! In celebration of reaching 10,000 hits I am giving away this great package of goodies…..

blog-candy1.jpgThe winner will receive the Cake Decorating 101 set from flourishes – this set contains 34 stamps!    There are all sorts of cute little pieces to use to decorate a cake.  To get you started stamping, I’ve also included a Palette Inkpad in Burnt Umber.  I love this ink – it works so well on polymer stamps.   And to finish it off, how about a bottle of stamp cleaner developed specifically to clean clear stamps?

What do you need to do to win this candy?  Just respond to this post by answering the following question….

I wish someone would make a stamp/stamp set of…….

The candy countdown ends friday morning, December 28, 9 am CST and I will announce the winner later that day, chosen by random number selection.

Good Luck!

Hmmm….someone may already make one but I would like verses for the inside of cards – for all different occasions. And also some kitty stamps that are maybe 2 step stamps (like the Kitchen Sink Daisies) and don’t require coloring – cats are hard to color (for me, anyway). Congratulations on your 10K – love your work!

Fireplaces complete with marshmallows on a stick or Christmas stockings & garland or topiaries. I just love the warmth of a fireplace and there are so many different ways to decorate a fireplace much less build a fireplace (brick or stone). Nothing says cozy like a warm fire.

What I would like and have not found yet is a set of sympathy sentiments. A collection of religious quotes, but also some simple sentiments for those who might not be religious. It would be nice to have one go-to set when you have to make sympathy cards. Thanks for the chance!

My guy doesn’t do any of that stuff. 🙂 I love the preteen idea above for boys someone mentioned as well (Dude, Sweet, etc.) I have a young teenager that would like that as well.

    Hey sister! (SBS5)
I wish I had an answer for the “I wish someone would make a …. stamp” question! 🙂 I am a pretty basic stamper – give me a few dozen flower stamps and I am alright. That’s why I have 4 boxes of flower and phrases stamps! I need t branch out, can you tell???? Kathy had a good idea. A stamp set about moving would be nice. When I moved, I wanted to make cards and I had the Stampin’ Up option, which really didn’t fit my style.
    See ya on the web!
