Color Challenge CC137

o-xmas-tree-nk-1.jpgThis is a card I made for last weeks SCS color challenge which called for a Basic Gray, Soft Sky and Pomegranate color scheme.  I would never had combined these colors, but they go together beautifully.  I took the Soft Sky panel and embossed it with the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder.  I gently rubbed a versamark pad over thexmasupclose006.jpg embossed panel and used Stardust Embossing Powder (from Custer’s Last Stamp) to give it a little sparkle.  The close up photo shows how this embossing powder looks – you can see I also edged the oval panel as well with this powder.

Nestabilities oval dies were used to make the regular and scalloped ovals.  “Merry Christmas” is from the O Christmas Tree set from Flourishes.

Another beautiful, elegant card. I’ve really been enjoying your work.
