Back to Blogging!

We’ve had family visiting for the past week and I’ve had very little time on the computer but I just had to post this card using a Flourishes set that will be released next week.

mens-shirt.jpgEveryone is always looking for cards for that special guy and this card uses the new Menswear Set.  The set contains 9 stamps:  a shirt, tie, beer stein, and several words and phrases.  I just know I will get so much use out of this set!  This shirt was stamped on blue textured paper and it looks just like a cotton oxford shirt!  The tie was also stamped on white textured paper and the stripes hand drawn and colored.  You can’t tell from the photo, but the black background was scored on the diagonal using a score pal and gives a nice masculine feel to it.  Guava paper provides a pop of color.  SU corner punch and nestabilities circle dies were used for the cut outs.

  10. Great card!

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

To answer you question, I made the fence stand out (in front of the Magnolia girl) by stamping it, cutting it out and then pop-dotting it over the girl.
